Hola! My name is Tuomo Naalisvaara. I'm from a small place called Tuusula in
southern Finland, and right now I live in northern finnish city of Oulu
where I study medicine at the University of Oulu.
Windsurfing has been a way of life and a really big part of my life for the
past 14 years. I started windsurfing at the age of 11 at my family's cabin
with my dad's vintage Dufour Wing.
At the age of 13 I started windsurfing at the local lake at Tuusula, and I
got a more modern equipment. The following summers I spent doing mostly
freeride windsurfing and learning some tricks and basics manouvers.
When I was 15, I tried out windsurfing at the sea for the first time and
that's when I really realized all the things you can do with the board and
how fun sport this really is. I got totally hooked on windsurfing.
So I started wave windsurfing and that's what I've been doing for the past
10 years. |
